(AP) — A south-central Kansas teenager has died from injuries she suffered in an ATV accident.

Deputies were called to the home Saturday evening after 16-year-old Hevin Thomas of Towanda had fallen from a four-wheeler she was riding on with three other teenagers.

Thomas was taken to a Wichita hospital in critical condition with head and back injuries and died Monday night.
