The official rainfall total for Hays as recorded at the K-State Agriculture Research Center is 0.48.  The rain started at 11:11p.m. in Hays and last for about an hour.

Overnight rain was better than expected. Ellis checked in with .33 of an inch. Yocemento, west of Hays received .45, Four miles north of LaCrosse .40, and 2 1/2 miles west of Schoenchen .55.

The Eagle Media Center on Hall Street in Hays reported .51.  The official rainfall total from the K-State Ag research center in in Hays was .48. That gives us 19.81 inches of moisture for the year.
