U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) spoke in the Senate Banking Committee yesterday about his frustration with Washington’s pattern of crisis-to-crisis governing, and challenged his colleagues and the President to break the pattern and use the debt ceiling debate to finally deal with tough issues facing our nation.
Sen. Moran believes this impasse is an opportunity for Congress to change course and bring certainty to our economy by making substantial reductions in spending and structural changes to our convoluted tax code.
