At Monday night’s Ellis County Commission meeting the commission agreed to change their meeting time to 5:00 on Monday evenings, starting January of 2014.

Earlier this year the commission expressed an interest in having Attorney Bill Jeter sit in on the meetings, in case they would need legal counsel.

The move was made to allow Jeter to attend both USD 489 Board of Education and County Commission meetings on Mondays.

The commission tabled a discussion on his fees until next week.
