Fifty-year old James Wohler of Victoria was killed in a head on crash in Ford County on Tuesday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Wohler was driving a 2013 Ford van southbound on U 283 four miles north of Minneola in southwest Kansas.

The van went left of center and struck a northbound Kenworth Semi truck driven by Abram Friesen of Sublette. Wohler was transported to Western Plains Medical Center in Dodge City where he died.  Abram was not injured. Both men were wearing seat belts.
