The Hays Medical Center Foundation is sponsoring Free Drive Thru Flu Shots on Sunday, October 20 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. The flu vaccine will be given to adults and children aged 6 months and older. Giving a healthy child over 2 years of age the intranasal influenza vaccine is recommended by HaysMed Pediatricians.

People wishing to receive a flu shot should enter the North Entrance of HaysMed on Canterbury Drive. You are asked to wear a short sleeved shirt. No injections will be given to anyone allergic to eggs.

Along with the Drive Thru Flu HaysMed associates will be sponsoring an optional food drive. People are asked to bring a non-perishable food item which will be donated to the community assistance center.
