MCA’s George Strait, Valory’s Thomas Rhett, Capitol’s Luke Bryan, WMN’sBlake Shelton and Republic Nashville’s The Band Perry were among artists honored by the Recording Industry Association of America in September for digital downloads and on-demand streams of their singles and albums. “Give It All We Got Tonight” earned Strait’s first Platinum Digital Single award and “It Goes Like This” brought Rhett his first Gold certification. Bryan and Shelton earned Platinum awards for their albums Crash My Party and Based On A True Story…, respectively, while The Band Perry got their second Gold album award for Pioneer.
