A western Kansas teenager is hospitalized after a Thursday evening rollover crash.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol nineteen-year-old Austin S. Holteen of Sublette was driving a 1994 Ford Ranger pickup southbound on U83, four and 1/2 miles north of the U83/U56 Junction in Haskell County.
Holteen’s truck went into the east ditch, returned to the roadway in the northbound lane where the driver over-corrected the truck and it rolled coming to rest on its wheels and ejecting the driver. Holteen was transported to the hospital in Garden City. He was not wearing a seat belt.
