1:50 PM – The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the woman killed in a one vehicle accident Monday morning. Eighteen year old Jessica L. Rudell of Gove County was killed when the vehicle she was driving lost control in the 2100 block of 130th Ave and rolled numerous times.
Rudell was the only occupant in the vehicle. She was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is being investigated by the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office.

An 18 year-old Gove County Woman was killed in a rollover accident in Ellis County early Monday morning.
According to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Department, the accident was reported at 12:15 a.m. by an individual who came upon the scene.
The Sheriff’s report said the unidentified woman was driving a 2003 GMC Yukon, southbound in the 2100 block of 130th Avenue, north east of Ellis when she apparently lost control of the SUV rolling numerous times.
The woman was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the woman is being withheld until next of kin can be notified.
