Riley County Law enforcement authorities responded to report of an altercation between a student and teacher at Manhattan High School on Wednesday afternoon.
The Police Department arrest report states that there was a battery at the School’s East Campus between a student and a faculty member in a restroom and neither party was seriously injured. Riley County Police Spokesman Matt Droge told Little Apple Post there were no major injuries.
Michelle Jones, Director of Communications and School Safety for the USD 388 said, “Manhattan High School remains committed to providing a safe and secure teaching and learning environment for all of our students and staff.”
No additional details have been released.
