NASHVILLE (AP) – Kenny Rogers will be given a lifetime achievement award at the Country Music Association Awards next week. The award is given to an artist who achieves both national and international prominence through music and charity. In other CMA news, Lady Antebellum and The Band Perry have been added as entertainment. Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban will team up for an onstage collaboration for the first time. The CMAs are next Wednesday.
