A driver was injured in a Thursday I-70 crash when she fell asleep at the wheel.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol a Mercury Mountaineer driven by Brenda Mcnair of Solomon was eastbound on I-70 at milepost 265, a mile east of Solomon, in the driving lane and she fell asleep.

The Mercury then veered across the passing lane into the median. Th vehicle then went back into the passing lane, rolled several times and then came to rest in the median.

Mcnair was transported to the Salina Regional Health Center.  She was wearing a seat belt.
