The local Affordable Care Act Certified Navigator is taking appointments once again.

Last month, Sayre Shuck, the ACA Navigator in Hays was forced to postpone appointments because the Healthcare.gov website was not working. Shuck said Tuesday she is able to access the website and she is once again taking appointments to help people sign up and gain more information on the Affordable Care Act.

Shuck also said people can just stop in and talk with her about the law.

Shuck is based at the Hays First Care Clinic, although you don’t have to be a First Care patient.  Anyone can ask for her help, at no charge.
