The fire that destroyed a camping trailer early Saturday morning is being investigated as an arson.   (click on the photos for a closer look)

Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski said the owner of trailer Kevin Lilley of Gypsum, looked outside his home just before 2am and discovered the 2001 Fleetwood Travel Trailer was fully engulfed in fire.

The trailer that was destroyed has a value estimated at $1,000.

Lilley told deputies that the trailer had been winterized, and there was no electricity or any other power source hooked up to the trailer.
