The Humane Society of the High Plains is joining in the Black Friday after-Thanksgiving shopping celebration this year.

On Friday, November 28, adoption fees will be waived on all black animals at the shelter. Spay/neuter deposits will still be required, but they will be refunded after the animal is altered. The selection of animals can be viewed at www.HSHPonline.org, click on Petfinder. Shelter hours are from one to five p.m.
