Fort Hays State University is hosting their Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony tonight, Tuesday December 3rd.  The ceremony begins at 6:00 pm in front of Sheridan Hall.

Events include hay rack rides, performances by the Dickens Carolers, a speech by FHSU president Dr. Ed Hammond, the announcement of the winners of the annual coloring contest, and the arrival of Santa Claus with his bag of gifts.  Hot chocolate and cookies will be available in the Dreiling Lobby of Sheridan Hall.

The evening is sponsored by FHSU Greek Life, the International Student Services Office, the Office of the President, the University Activities Board, FHSU Athletics and Wendy’s restaurants.
