The Fort Hays State University women’s basketball team continued to receive votes in the latest Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) poll, released Tuesday.
FHSU (6-1, 1-1 MIAA) received 28 votes after splitting a conference road trip last week at No. 8 Central Missouri and Missouri Western. In last week’s WBCA poll, the Tigers received 49 votes.
MIAA opponents Emporia State (No. 3), UCM (No. 8) and Washburn (RV – 28) join the Tigers in the rankings.
FHSU is off this week before returning to the court on Monday, Dec. 16 for a 7 p.m. matchup against University of Saint Mary.
