Rollover Crash critically injures NW Kansas man

A man was critically injured in a Saturday crash in Thomas County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol twenty-two year old Brady J. Rietcheck of Colby was driving a 2006 GMC pickup southbound on Thomas County Rd 20 Saturday morning. The truck entered the east ditch, over corrected and came out of the ditch.

The truck then entered the west ditch and rolled unknown amount of times and the driver was ejected. Rietcheck was transported to the hospital in Colby and then flown to Swedish Medical Center in Denver

He was not wearing a seat belt.  An investigation is underway on the time of the accident. It possibly occurred between 1:30 a.m. and 9:17 a.m. on Saturday.
