MILLIGAN, Neb. (AP) – Usually the town of Milligan, Nebraska is home to just over 200 people. But this past Saturday wasn’t a usual one – because it hosted a free country music concert by Lee Brice. And that swelled the town’s population to about 5,000 for the night. Brice did about 10 songs – and the performance was followed by a fireworks display. Pepsi staged the event to promote the Super Bowl halftime show it’s sponsoring. It chose Milligan because the soda maker wanted a location halfway between New York City and Los Angeles.
