State Rep. Sue Boldra, R-Hays, hopes the upcoming Kansas legislative session is less contentious than last year.
Boldra represents the 111th District and serves on the House Education Committee. She’s a retired Hays High School government teacher and is now a teacher education professor at Fort Hays State University.
“We have much to do,” she says:

The 2014 legislative session opens Monday in Topeka.
