Carson Konrade scored all 12 of Fort Hays State’s points during a late 12-3 run that pushed the Tigers lead to 13 and they defeat the Lindenwood Lions 70-62 Thursday night at Gross Coliseum. The victory is the Tigers third straight and improves them to 11-3 overall and 3-3 in the MIAA. The Lions fall to 8-9 and 3-4 in the conference. The win was Mark Johnson’s 257th, tying him with the legendary Cade Suran as the Tigers all-time winningest coach.

The Tigers raced to a 6-0 lead and led by seven midway through the first half but Lindenwood pulled within three at halftime. The Tigers opened the second half on a 9-1 run and led by 10. Lindenwood scored seven straight to pull within three but the Tigers answered with a final push for the win.
Carson Konrade hit three 3’s, all in the second half, and led the Tigers with 19 points. Dwayne Brunson added 18 points, six rebounds and five blocked shots. Craig Nicholson dished out 11 assists to become the seventh Tiger to dish out over 300 in a career.
The Tigers shot 48-percent but held the Lions to 39-percent.
