MIAA results from Wednesday

Missouri Western at Emporia State 
WBB – #3 ESU 69, MWSU 52
Emporia State used 41 first half points to propel them to victory over Missouri Western at home. ESU shot .448 from the field as they moved to 6-0 in the league this season.

For the Lady Hornets Kionna Kellog had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Amber Vandiver also finished with a  double-double scoring 11 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. For the Griffons Quenisha Lockett had 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Jallisa Lewis had 10 points and added six rebounds on the evening.

MBB – ESU 87, MWSU 80
Emporia State scored the last seven points of the game as they defeated Missouri Western at home. ESU shot .611 from the field as they moved to 3-3 in the league this season.

For the Hornets Kaleb Wright scored 28 points and added nine rebounds. Terrence Moore had 20 points and Gavin Brown added a double-double with 12 points and a game best 17 rebounds. For the Griffons Ryan Devers had 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Han Thun scored 18 points and Adarius Fulton scored 15 points on the night.

Missouri Southern at Central Oklahoma 
WBB – UCO 62, MSSU 60
Central Oklahoma erased a seven-point halftime deficit as they came from behind for a win at home over Missouri Southern. UCO hit 13 free throws in the second half while allowing MSSU only two as they moved to 3-3 in league play.

For the Bronchos Jill Bryan had 13 points and Britney Morgan finished with 12 points on the evening. Olivia Mason led the way on the glass pulling down 11 rebounds. For the Lions Sharese Jones had 13 points and Alexis Fitzpatrick had 10 points. Dominique Mosley had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

MBB – MSSU 92, UCO 79
Missouri Southern scored 58 points in the second half as they picked up a win on the road at Central Oklahoma. MSSU got 37 points from their bench as they moved to 4-1 in the MIAA.

For the Lions Marquis Addison led the way with 18 points and Slim Magee added 15 points. Austin Wright had 13 points and Greg Renfroe had 12 points while Jordan Talbert pulled down eight rebounds. For the Bronchos Josh Gibbs had a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Cal Andrews had 16 points and  Aaron Anderson had 15 points on the night.
