Tuesday, Jan. 21 at noon is the filing deadline for candidates in the April 1 Kansas local elections.

There are three at-large positions open on the Ellis City Council.  Terms will be ending for Loran Gottschalk, Jeff Wolf and John Walz.

Four people have filed to run: Ron Johnson, David McDaniel, Brian Raub and incumbent Walz.
