Local artist Dennis Schiel’s Kansas mural has found a permanent home at the state Capitol in Topeka.

According to Hays Arts Council Director Brenda Meder, the 10-panel mural is placed at “gathering place” outside the attorney general’s office.

According to Meder, a ceremonial unveiling at the Capitol is scheduled for
Kansas Day, which Jan. 29.
