TOPEKA — The Kansas Historical Foundation announced it has published Kansas State Capitol, a photographic history available for sale in the new Capitol Store. The book includes images of the original construction and the recent restoration work. The Capitol Store is located at the ground level entrance on the north side of the Kansas State Capitol.
The Capitol Store features products with a focus on Kansas made and Kansas inspired, highlighting Kansas artists from around the state. Products include Kansas Historical Society publications, clothing, posters, souvenirs, and copper jewelry and collectibles created with copper removed from the Capitol.
Many items available in the Capitol Store also can be purchased at the Kansas Museum of History, 6425 SW Sixth, Topeka, or online at store.kshs.org.
