The Hays Area Chamber of Commerce today announced several upcoming events for the business community.

The monthly membership lunch will be at noon Friday at Smoky Hill Country Club, 3003 Hall. Guest speakers will be Ellis County Administrator Greg Sund and Hays Assistant City Manager Paul Briseno.
At 9 a.m. Friday, there will be a Chamber Chat and ribbon-cutting ceremony at Oohs-n-Oz, 1609 Main.
At 8 a.m. Feb. 1, the chamber will kick off its annual Eggs & Issues legislative forum series at Sternberg Museum of Natural History.
On Feb. 6, the chamber will have its annual banquet at Memorial Union on the campus of Fort Hays State University. The social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., and the dinner and program is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Mayo Schmidt, a Thomas More Prep-Marian High School alum, will be the featured speaker.
