To ring in the year of the horse, the Chinese Student Association at Fort Hays State University invite the campus and community to celebrate at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center in Sheridan Hall on the FHSU campus.
This event is free and open to the public.
“The Chinese New Year is the longest and most important celebration in the Chinese calendar,” said Carol Solko-Oliff, director of international student services.
As part of the 2014 New Year Celebration of Diversity, the Chinese Student Association is eager to share its culture through an evening of celebration including traditional Chinese dances, songs and entertainment.
