A Kansas man was injured Saturday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding crashed on K4 1.5 miles east of Bushton at 1:55 p.m.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Honda Goldwing driven by 66 year old Richard D. Durst of Moundridge was traveling eastbound on K4 when it drove off the left shoulder and down into the ditch.

The motorcycle flipped 2-3 times before coming to rest. Durst was transported to the hospital in Lyons.

The KHP said Durst was wearing a helmet.
