Kansas woman dies in Saturday crash

Screen-Shot-2014-03-01-at-7.46.02-AM.pngAllyson R. Yutzy, 20, of Sterling died in crash in Reno County on Saturday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported Yutzy was driving a 2005 Saturn Ion west bound on K14, 4 miles west of Nickerson, when she lost control, crossed into the east bound lane and was struck by a 2000 Chevy Tahoe driven by Thomas J. Fortune, 24 of Butte, Montana.

Yutzy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fortune and a passenger in the Tahoe Fouts, Casey D. Fouts, 22 of Sterling were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

The KHP said all three were wearing seat belts.
