Tigers await UCO/MWSU winner in MIAA Tournament

Kansas City, Mo. Central Missouri men’s basketball earned the top seed in the MIAA tournament bracket released today. The Mules earn a bye into the quarterfinal round which is scheduled to begin on March 7 at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.

Also earning a spot in the quarterfinals in Kansas City were second seeded Northwest Missouri, third seed Missouri Southern and fourth seed Fort Hays State. They will await the winner of opening round games to be played on campus on March 4.

Fifth seeded Central Oklahoma will host #12 seed Missouri Western at 7 p.m. from Edmond, Okla. Sixth seeded Nebraska-Kearney will host the #11 seed Lindenwood at 7 p.m. from Kearney, Neb.

Seventh seeded Emporia State will play host to tenth seeded Southwest Baptist at 7 p.m. from Emporia, Kan. Eighth seeded Washburn be at home to face ninth seed Northeastern State at 7 p.m. from Topeka, Kan.
