The Hays Police Department is investigating a burglary at a Hays hair salon.

According to Chief Don Scheibler, the incident at Styles by Ayre, 806 Allen, happened sometime Sunday night when an unknown suspect smashed a rock though the front door of the business to gain entry.

The suspect stole a cash register with “limited” money inside.
