HOISINGTON — Zach Baird has been named football coach at Hoisington High School. Baird replaces Jason Ingram, whose coaching contract was not renewed after the 2013 season.

Baird has been defensive coordinator for the Cardinals the past three seasons. He played high school football at Hoisington before going to Kansas State as a gray shirt. He finished his career at Fort Hays State University.

Ingram went 9-10 in his two years as the Cardinals head coach, leading Hoisington to the 3A playoffs both seasons.
