The city of Hays will host a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the lobby of Sternberg Museum of Natural History.

As Assistant City Manager Paul Briseno explains, the meeting topic is water:

The city declared a Water Warning February 27. Last month, commissioners agreed to begin the long regulatory process of developing its water rights at the R9 Ranch in Edwards County, south of Kinsley.
