CHAPMAN — A motorcycle rider was injured in a Saturday evening crash on Interstate 70.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1981 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by James D. Wilson Jr., 49, Fort Riley, was eastbound on I-70 four miles east of Chapman at 9 p.m.
The KHP said the motorcycle was rear-ended by a 2001 Toyota driven by Jess T. Lemon, 22, Hays. Wilson was transported to the hospital in Salina. Lemon was not injured.
The KHP reported Wilson was not wearing a helmet.
