Changing oil, sharpening blades and cleaning air filters are some of the services that Fort Hays State University’s Agribusiness Club will offer at its third annual lawnmower clinic from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday outside Davis Hall on the FHSU campus.
Club members encourage those participating to drop off their lawnmowers from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in front of Davis Hall or before 10 a.m. Saturday. The cost for service is $40.
Proceeds will help the club finance its annual trip.
“We take the agribusiness students to different areas within the region to explore some different types of agribusiness career opportunities,” said Dr. Craig Smith, assistant professor of agriculture.
The clinic will feature full-service maintenance by trained personnel. No major repairs will be made. The clinic is limited to servicing 40 mowers.
Reservations can be made by contacting the FHSU Agribusiness Club at (785) 628-4368, or by emailing Smith at [email protected].
