John Clarke has been named president of Bank of Hays at Monday’s annual organizational meeting, according to Randy Walker, chief executive officer of the bank.

Clarke has been an executive vice president and chief financial officer with the bank.  He is also a member of the board of directors of Bank of Hays.

Clarke, a longtime resident of Hays, has more than nine years experience with Bank of Hays and more than 30 years of experience in banking.

Clarke is a University of Kansas graduate and obtained his CPA certificate in 1981.  He is also a member of the executive committee of the Fort Hays State University Foundation.
