
RUSSELL — The Russell County Sheriff’s Department announced Wednesday that a teenager missing since October has been located.
The sheriff’s office said on its Facebook page that Cierra Swodek, 17, had been safely located in Sumner County. She had been sought since last fall since running away from a Russell County foster home.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office offered its thanks to the public and agencies involved in the months-long effort to located the missing teen.
