Two injured in Saturday morning crash on K-18

khpTALMAGE—Two women were injured in a Saturday morning crash in Dickinson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Nissan truck driven by Angel Zavala, 86, Salina was westbound on K18 two miles west of Talmage at 6:18 a.m.

The truck went left of center and collided with a 2002 Chevy passenger vehicle driven by Amanda Leigh Wuehler, 30, Longford.

The truck came to rest on its wheels in the south ditch facing southwest. The Chevy came to rest on its wheels in the south ditch facing northwest.

Wuehler and a passenger in the Chevy Kim M. Soper, 56, Keystone, NE were transported to the hospital in Abilene. Zavala was not injured.

The KHP reported all were wearing safety belts.
