Hays High senior Preston Wiegel takes first place at the USA Wrestling Cliff Keen Folkstyle National in Cedar Rapids, Iowa over the weekend.

After receiving a first-round bye, Weigel won three straight matches by technical fall. He then defeated Carter Isley of Iowa 8-0 in a major decision in the title match at 195.

Weigel is a three-time state champion, going more than two seasons without losing a match.
