Windy and a chance of showers

A few showers will be possible elsewhere. Severe weather is unlikely. Look for highs up into the 50s across far southwest Kansas with 60s likely across south central Kansas.

Today A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 62. Windy, with a north northwest wind 6 to 16 mph increasing to 16 to 26 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Tonight A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 34. Windy, with a north northwest wind 20 to 25 mph decreasing to 9 to 14 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
Tuesday Sunny, with a high near 68. North wind 10 to 18 mph.
Tuesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 40. North wind 7 to 11 mph becoming south after midnight.
Wednesday Sunny, with a high near 82. South southwest wind 9 to 17 mph.
Wednesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 50.
Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 71.
