Early Childhood Connections will host Family Fun Fest on Saturday at The Mall in Hays. The event is in conjunction with Week of the Young Child.

The Week of the Young Child — April 6 to 12 — is celebrated nationwide as an opportunity to celebrate young children and bring awareness to their learning needs.

The free Hays event is  1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and includes crafts, games and activities for young children and their families.
