The Hays Public Library is offering a fun activities for kids this week in the Children’s Department. There will be a different Easter-themed activity April 14 and 15 and will conclude with an Easter party April 17.

Activities include:

4 p.m. April 14: Easter Craft- Join us for a fun, Easter inspired craft.
4 p.m. April 15: Egg Dyeing- Don’t miss out on creating beautiful and unique eggs!
4 p.m. April 17: Easter Party- Come and join us for our Easter party where we will be doing an egg obstacle course, bunny pokey, egg toss, and egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will also be available for the kids to visit!

At 5 p.m. Monday, the All Ages YA Book Club will meet for the first time. They boast it is the perfect book club for everyone. This month’s book is “The Giver” by Lois Lowry. Join us in the Gallery for a book discussion and refreshments.  Whether you are new to the book or it’s an old favorite everyone is welcome. Be sure to pick up a copy of next month’s book, “The Lightening Thief” by Rick Riordan, at the front desk.
