The Hays High girls’ soccer team ran their win streak to three and they didn’t need overtime to do it. After winning their last two contests in overtime, the Indians defeat Junction City 5-2 in regulation. The Indians erased a two-goal first half deficit to beat Junction City 5-2 Monday.

Rachel Luedders scored on a penalty in the 33rd minute to get the Indians on the board. Alexa Brull tied the match in the 49th minute off a corner from Brooke Russell. She then put the Indians ahead for good on an assist from Talyn Kleweno in the 54th minute. Blair Street and Tressa Becker both scored late in the match for the final margin.

The Indians are now 5-2 on the season and play their first home match since their season opener in late March when they host Great Bend Tuesday at 4pm at Hays High School.
