First Lady to give commencement address in Topeka

Screen Shot 2014-04-17 at 11.24.14 AMTOPEKA–Topeka Public Schools will have a special Commencement speaker. The school district announced today that First Lady Michelle Obama is speaking at the graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 17th.

All Topeka Public School seniors will graduate in one ceremony at the Kansas Expocentre on the 60th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education.

Topeka is the only high school graduation ceremony that Ms. Obama will be speaking at this year..
