Beginning Monday, Wheatland Avenue from East 20th to East 22nd will be restricted to traffic and closed in areas, the city of Hays announced in a news release Friday. Concrete work will be completed in these areas, and repairs are expected to be completed in approximately seven weeks.

Detailed closure and restrictions are:
• Wheatland Avenue will be completely closed from the East 21st Street alley to East 22nd Street.
• Wheatland Avenue will be closed on the south side of the street from the East 20th Street alley to the East 21st Street alley. Traffic will be allowed on the north side of the street.
