There will be a fundraiser this week for an 18-year-old injured in a March car accident.

Olivia Blachet, the daughter of Jeff and Stormy B. Gronweg, Hays, was involved in a car accident on March 20. She is six months pregnant and sustained severe injuries. She remains in critical condition at Maine Medical Center in Portlane, Maine.

A fundraiser to help the family offset medical, living and travel expenses will be from 5 to 8 p.m. April 26 at the Hays VFW, 22nd and Vine. Freewill donations will be accepted for a spaghetti supper. From 8 to 10 p.m. local band RedSmith will perform.

A drawing will be held for a chance to win a Traeger grill and other items, and “Pray for Livvy” T-shirts and wristbands also will be available.
