The Barton Community College music department will sponsor the “Double Reed Ensemble” concert featuring well-known double-reed specialist Kay Werth at 7:30 p.m. May 4 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel in the Fine Arts Building.
Werth, an instructor at Fort Hays State University, will play with an ensemble of woodwinds including an oboe, English horn and bassoon. She is considered an expert with woodwind instruments and is able to perform on multiple instruments within the woodwind family and is also able to assemble oboes and bassoons.
