High winds blamed for I-70 Semi-truck crash

KHPSALINA–Windy weather is being blamed for a late Wednesday crash in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 semi-truck driven by Randy D. Bartlett, 57, Assaria, was westbound on I-70 in the right hand lane and a gust of wind hit the vehicle, causing it to overturn into the north ditch.

Bartlett was transported to Salina Regional Medical Center.

The KHP reported he was properly restrained.
