MCPHERSON–A teenage driver was injured in an I-135 accident at 7:35 Thursday morning.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Honda Accord driven by Almandee Leadonn, 17, Salina, was traveling northbound on I-135 seven miles north of McPherson.

For an unknown reason the vehicle left the roadway entering the median and across the culvert coming to rest on the other side.

Leadonn was transported to the McPherson Medical Center.

The KHP reported she was properly restrained.
