The Hays High softball team ran their winning streak to five with a pair of 1-0 wins over Pratt Thursday at the Bickle-Schmidt Sports Complex. The games were originally scheduled for April 3rd but were postponed due to inclement weather.

Hannah Hearld strikes out 11 in the opener. The Indians score the game’s only run in the third. Haley Wells had two of the Indians three hits.

Hearld struck out nine in the second contest. Nicole Dinkel drove in the only run with a single in the second. Hays wins despite being out hit 6-3. The Greenbacks committed three errors.

The Indians are now 9-1 on the season. They travel to Great Bend Tuesday.
